Steps to Apply at the University of Georgia (UG) via Sadmission.com

Register on the Admission Portal

  • Create an account on Sadmission.com and complete the registration form.
  • Upload all required documents in high-quality Scanned format (JPG/PDF).
  • Underage applicants must also submit a birth certificate and a parent’s passport copy.
  • The name on your application and documents (passport, diploma, transcripts, etc.) must match exactly.
    If any of your past documents contain your name in Georgian, inform us in advance.
  • Registration is 100% online.

Pay the Admission Fee

  • the 200 USD admission fee must be paid online through the portal.
  • This fee covers document translation into Georgian and Ministry submission and is none-refundable.
  • Applicants who pay this fee do not need to make any other payments to the Ministry.

Note: transfer applicants must pay an extra 100 USD for the Ministry of Education fee.

Receive the Offer Letter (Handled by Sadmission)

  • This is also considered as conditional acceptance.
  • Your seat and tuition fee will be reserved accordingly.
  • The student must control and confirm the content.

Documents Translation to Georgian and Notarize (Handled by Sadmission)

  • Once documents are uploaded correctly, you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Translate all your documents through certified translators—no action is needed from your side.

Submit Documents to the Ministry of Education (Handled by Sadmission)

  • Two verification steps take place:
    • Recognition of Documents (1-2 weeks)
    • Final Ministry Permission (2-4 weeks)
  • Applicants cannot submit documents themselves—the process is fully managed by Sadmission.com to ensure accuracy and avoid delays.

Get Recognition of Your Previous Studies

  • The Ministry evaluates and officially recognizes your past qualifications.
  • Ministry and other authorities may send inquiries to previous educational institutions or other third parties and the student must comply according to the deadline.
  • Recognition of Documents (1-2 weeks)

Receive the Ministry of Education Decree

  • Once approved, the Ministry issues a decree allowing you to proceed with the university enrollment process.
  • Ministry and other authorities may send inquiries to previous educational institutions or other third parties and the student must comply according to the deadline.
  • Final Ministry Permission (2-4 weeks)

Take the Online Placement Test

  • You will receive Online test information in 3-5 working days after university Received the Ministry of Education Decree.
  • You need to complete an online placement or entrance test (depending on the program).
  • The student may need to pass an extra course in case of failure in test (it will not affect study duration time).

Final Enrollment - Welcome to UG!

  • You will receive an Enrollment Email in 3-5 working days after Placement Test.
  • Congratulations! You are now officially part of the University of Georgia.

Sign the University Contract

  • You will receive a Contract Email in 3-5 working days after Final Enrollment.
  • Read and digitally sign your enrollment agreement to reserve your seat.
  • You will receive proper information to access your university portal
  • The student must control all information and sections and update contact details there.

Receive Your Acceptance Letter (Handled by Sadmission)

  • You will receive an Acceptance letter in 3-5 working days after sing the contract.
  • Sadmission provides your final official acceptance letter.
  • The student must control and confirm the content.

Pay the Tuition Fee

  • Make the tuition fee payment as outlined in your contract before traveling or applying for a visa.
  • In acceptance letter and university websites, university bank account information is mentioned.
  • The student’s full name and passport number must be mentioned in the receipt.
  • The University bank account details must be fully mentioned in the bank record.
  • Only bank records transfered inside Georgia or with swift code and full information will be accepted by university and will be reflected on student’s online platform only after reaches to university’s bank account
  • Only scanned of official paper bank record or official PDF of bank receipt are acceptable by university.
  • After the tuition fee payment, student must follow-up the transaction with his bank (and ask about transaction processing time), and follow-up with university.
  • Processes will continue after university receives the amount.

Receive Visa invitation Letters (Handled by Sadmission)

  • You will receive your Visa Lettes in 5 working days after university confirmed your tuition fee received.
  • We provide Educational supporting documents for your visa application which must be provided by university.
  • The student needs an official accommodation document to apply for study visa in case needed, university may provide one

Apply for Your Visa

  • Use and upload your visa documents and prepare all other necessary documents asked by Embassy/VFS of your area to apply for a study Visa.
  • Details of the process can be discussed independently.
  • The student must upload the Visa decision in Sadmission portal

Welcome to Georgia!

  • The student must inform us the arrival and accommodation details.
  • Book your flight and arrive in Tbilisi.
  • Necessary documents for arrival time:
    • Print all documents which you gave to the embassy, including insurance.
    • Cash for 3 months living expenses.

Apply for Your Student Residence Permit

  • After arrival, apply for your temporary study residence permit.
  • The student must upload the student status letter to the Sadmission portal.
  • Student should inform us about the real living address and Georgian phone number.
  • Details of residence permit can be discussed independently.

Submit the Residence Permit decision to Sadmission
