Civil Engineering Department Head Recognized by AD Scientific Index

Prof. Saeid Sahmani, head of the Civil Engineering Department at the School of Science and Technology, has been ranked second place among all scientists in Georgia in the field of Engineering and Technology.

According to the AD Scientific Index website, Prof. Sahmani’s outstanding scientific performance earned him this prestigious position.

The AD Scientific Index (Alper-Doger Scientific Index) is a comprehensive ranking and analysis system based on the scientific productivity and impact of individual scientists, unlike traditional systems that evaluate journals or universities.

Developed since 2021, this index uses a combination of nine parameters including the total and recent six years’ values of the i10 index, h-index, and citation scores from Google Scholar. The AD Scientific Index ranks scientists across:
